Parties and special events At Emily’s House
In order to preserve the beauty and elegance of Emily’s House we must charge a small fee to cover the costs of cleanup, and equipment maintenance. With the respect of our guests and staff, we look forward to sharing our home with you for years to come. We are happy you have considered Emily’s House as a venue for your special event. This property is a beautiful setting for any outdoor gathering. Our interior ,as well offers elegant décor for an intimate celebration. The “day fee” entitles the user full use of all areas of this property. Our Landscape is maintained with the highest of standards in mind. Below you will see how the property can accommodate your needs and desires.
We also provide an excellent venue for weddings: intimate receptions, rehearsal dinners, day after brunches and ceremonies! Click here to see some photos!
Special Event guidelines
“One day” special event use cost is 500.00
Vacation rental guests “special event” cost is 250.00
Please review information on our website regarding the size of your event and the services we can provide for you.
In order to maintain this home in perfect condition we have set our standards high so that we can continue to offer all our guests the beauty, elegance and comfort they have come to expect.

All service providers must have a certificate of liability insurance on file with EH.
Caterers or chefs are responsible for clean up and trash removal.
Please inform us by phone call, if there are any loss’ of property or damages incurred during your stay at Emily’s House..
We have provided a list of guidelines for you, as an event host.
Please make sure that you understand the expectations
Property manager will be there to start your party, (indiscreetly)
And will return at the closing time of your party.
He will be able to help you if you have any questions or concerns.
Children must be supervised at all times. The stairs are dangerous to children in stocking feet. & there are many breakable items throughout the house.
Furniture is not to be moved from its proper placing.
out door furniture shell remain outdoors.
inside furniture must remain inside.
No fire pits, torches, or open flames.
Candles are permitted. If, they are contained
No staking or driving anything into the ground.
Small stakes are provided for the arbor.
Please use only the downstairs bathroom for your event guests.
do not flush anything but toilet paper.
Please wash all kitchen ware, dishes and equipment used for your event or by your guests.

To our Vacation Rental guests 13- 25 people is 250.00 over this count, can be negotiated
Reserving Emily’s House for vacation rental only covers the cost of guest accommodations. It does not cover the cost of a special event or gathering.
Emily’s House accommodates up to 12 guests. The table in the kitchen seats 12. Our everyday kitchenware and household furniture can only accommodate 12.
Any gathering over this, constitutes a “special event.”
This fee entitles our guests to use all other equipment listed. By pre-arrangement.
All gatherings must be pre-arranged and paid for in advance.
